The Telecom Technical Lead candidate must have proven experience in designing, configuring, implementing, testing, and documenting Honeywell Security Solutions, PAGA Solutions, and Convergent Networks (Data, Voice, and Video) for LAN, WAN, and WLAN. The candidate must be able to lead a team of engineers to develop telecom proposals and projects following RFQ specifications.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, configure, and implement Honeywell EBI-Temaline Access Control System, Digital Video Manager, and Intrusion Detection System.
- Design, configure, and implement Convergent Networks (Data, Voice, and Video).
- Network and infrastructure design, configuration, implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Design network infrastructure composed of switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Design, configure, implement, test, and document telecom and industrial security projects.
- Design, configure, and implement wireless networks.
Additional experience:
- Implementing PAGA, Tetra/DMR, and microwave radio projects.
- Developing conceptual designs and documenting budget or firm estimates under tight deadlines with limited information.
- Making and documenting assumptions during proposal/project development.
- Coordinating with proposal/project teams, including other system specialists.
- Preparing proposal and project documentation per customer specifications.
- Working within project scope and specifications.
- Developing bill of materials, clarifications, and exceptions.
- Understanding standards applicability and design deviations for network design.
- Implementing and configuring industrial security and network equipment in industrial environments.
Minimum qualifications:
- BS Degree in Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience designing and specifying Honeywell EBI, DVM, and Temaline Access Control Systems for industrial environments.
- 10+ years of experience designing and specifying PAGA, LAN, WAN, WLAN networks, and VoIP solutions for industrial environments.
- Hands-on experience configuring network switches and routers.
- Experience with Palo Alto / Fortinet firewalls is a plus.
- Strong Layer 2 & Layer 3 networking skills.
- Expertise in wireless networks.
- Experience with RFQ specifications and estimating network equipment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Visio.
- Expertise in microwave and trunking radio is a plus.
- Expertise in VoIP and QoS is a plus.
- Experience working in industrial environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of personal protective equipment is a plus.
