Senior Maintenance Technician - 240000BC

Under the supervision of the team lead, the Senior Maintenance Technician will lead a team of technicians and drivers to support operational teams by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, fault finding, and repair of equipment, vehicles, and plant maintained by various dnata Technical Services Workshops in DXB & DWC. The goal is to ensure the functional reliability of all equipment to meet the 24-hour operational requirements. The candidate should be capable of working independently to maximize equipment serviceability.

• Inspect equipment, vehicles, and plant daily for operational reliability and safety to plan corrective maintenance and prevent accidents. Conduct mandatory safety and quality checks before releasing equipment after maintenance or repair.
• Identify faults or failures during maintenance and report them to supervisors for corrective action.
• Follow standard safety procedures during maintenance activities to prevent injuries and equipment damage.
• Record all work activities accurately in the logbook and Maintenance Management System for effective planning.

• Receive and deliver consignments, ensuring protection against damage or loss.
• Drive various vehicles, including trucks, trailers, small trucks, pickups, and forklifts, supporting operations inside and outside EEMC.
• Coordinate with the Dispatch section for planning movements and manpower allocation.
• Handle customs documentation and processing for consignments, ensuring compliance with legal requirements during transit.
• Manage manpower and resources for movement of aircraft engines, modules, tools, spares, and other consignments within and outside EEMC.

• Lead and perform scheduled maintenance adhering to manufacturer recommendations, ISO standards, safety standards, and civil aviation authority requirements.
• Diagnose and repair faults efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Suggest and implement modifications to equipment to reduce costs and enhance performance and safety, with proper approvals.
• Train and develop technicians in maintenance, fault finding, and safety procedures.
• Ensure timely procurement of spares and tools by communicating needs in advance.
• Maintain good housekeeping and care of tools in the workshop and work areas.
