EV High-Voltage Systems Specialist
Job summary
A prominent automotive service provider is looking for an EV Specialist in Dubai. The role requires expertise in diagnosing and repairing electric vehicle high-voltage systems. Candidates must have strong hands-on experience with EV diagnostics, knowledge of OEM procedures, and the ability to troubleshoot complex faults. Responsibilities include performing safety procedures, maintaining compliance with high-voltage standards, training technicians, and preparing service documentation. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing field in electric vehicles.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with electric vehicle high-voltage systems and diagnostics.
- Knowledge of OEM procedures, BMS, and safety compliance.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex EV faults and support workshop teams.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair EV systems including batteries, BMS, inverters, converters, and traction motors.
- Perform HV safety procedures, isolation testing, CAN diagnostics, and fault analysis using OEM tools.
- Execute software updates, firmware flashing, and ECU calibration.
- Conduct battery health checks and monitor SOH/SOC.
- Ensure compliance with high-voltage safety standards and workshop protocols.
- Support telematics, OTA diagnostics, and ECU communication troubleshooting.
- Train technicians on EV systems and safety practices.
- Prepare diagnostic service and warranty documentation.
