Job summary

A leading technology company in Dubai is seeking an experienced IT Support / System Administrator to oversee system administration for Edge Devices, PBX, and network support across local offices. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in IT support, with expertise in Cloud solutions and contact center environments. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring reliable communication and optimal technology performance throughout the organization.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of proven experience as an IT Support / System Administrator.
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud and On-Premise Contact Center Solutions.
  • Experience with monitoring server health and addressing performance issues.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Edge Device for optimal performance.
  • Administer and manage PBX and PRI lines for telecommunication.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and optimize performance.
  • Provide IT support for local offices and ensure reliable connectivity.

Job description
What will be your mission?

Edge Devices (Servers):

  • Install, configure, and maintain Edge Device to ensure smooth operation and optimal performance.
  • Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor server health and address any performance issues or errors.
  • System admin, Genesis (tool), ideally GCC experience (local laws - licenses)

PBX and PRI Lines:

  • Administer and manage PBX and PRI lines for efficient telecommunication services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to PBX and PRI lines.
  • Collaborate with telecommunication service providers to ensure uninterrupted communication channels.
  • Phone line for a contact centers

Internet Leased Line and Broadband:

  • Manage internet leased line connections and broadband services.
  • Monitor network bandwidth usage and ensure adequate resources for smooth operations.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and optimize internet performance.
  • Local network/wifi and admin support

Mobile Phones Usage and Monitoring:

  • Oversee the mobile phone system, including device provisioning, configuration, and support.
  • Monitor mobile phone usage, data plans, and costs.
  • Implement mobile device management policies and security measures.

Managing IT and Network Support for Local Offices:

  • Provide IT support and troubleshooting for local offices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain local office networks, ensuring reliable connectivity.
  • Collaborate with local office staff to address IT-related concerns and provide timely solutions.
Requirements

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree or proven studies in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years proven experience as an IT Support / System Administrator, preferably in a multi-office environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud and On-Premise Contact Center Solutions. Experience with Genesys and Avaya systems will be preferred.
  • Contact center experience is a must
