Job Description

• Maintain cleanliness of the Health Club, Pool, Beach, and Bask areas, including dusting, removing soiled towels, retrieving linen, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, steam and sauna areas, replenishing supplies, and garbage removal, adhering to Fairmont standards.
• Attend pre-shift briefings and hand over responsibilities to the supervisor at the end of each shift.
• Operate steam and sauna facilities, turning them on before opening and off after closing.
• Use cleaning supplies and equipment properly and efficiently.
• Report issues or questions to the Health Club Supervisor.
• Assist guests and colleagues courteously, providing excellent service.
• Follow instructions, learn procedures, and perform routine tasks consistently.
• Report lost and found items to security immediately.
• Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards promptly.
• Maintain high grooming and uniform standards.
• Follow all departmental policies and procedures.
• Set up pool and beach areas with towels, sunbeds, umbrellas, and amenities before guest arrival.
• Greet guests, offer towels, and assist in finding seating.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of pool deck, beach, loungers, and surrounding areas.
• Manage towel inventory and replace used towels as needed.
• Assist with recreational or special events at the pool and beach areas.
• Provide guest amenities such as cold towels and refreshments to enhance the luxury experience.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in a luxury hotel environment is desirable but not essential.
• High School diploma, vocational training, or 1 year of work experience.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Friendly, pleasant demeanor with good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent personal hygiene and grooming standards.
• Previous experience in a fitness center is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
