Job summary
A dynamic media organization in Dubai is seeking an experienced Events Manager to oversee the execution of Obstacle Course Racing events. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in event management, particularly in a sports context, with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage budgets effectively. Fluency in Arabic and English is essential for this role, as effective communication with stakeholders is key. This position offers a chance to lead a small operational team and ensure a high-quality experience for participants.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as an Event Manager within a sports or multi-site event environment.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in budget management.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute all scheduled OCR events throughout the year.
- Manage event budgets and provide financial reporting.
- Lead and manage a team for successful event execution.
- Communicate with stakeholders and manage expectations.
- Ensure participant and staff safety during events.
