Job Description
Job Purpose:
To lead and manage the production planning and scheduling process for facade manufacturing projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven output in alignment with project requirements and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain master production schedules and plans based on project timelines, material availability, and resource capacity.
- Liaise with design, procurement, project, and production teams to coordinate and prioritize production activities.
- Monitor and update production planning tools (e.g., ERP/MRP systems) to reflect current progress, delays, and changes.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources—manpower, machinery, and materials—while minimizing waste and downtime.
- Forecast and assess capacity requirements and recommend action plans to mitigate bottlenecks.
- Track progress and generate daily/weekly production reports for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and efficient dispatch coordination with logistics and project execution teams.
- Identify and drive process improvements for production planning and scheduling.
- Address planning-related issues and propose practical resolutions to avoid production delays.
- Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety, and environmental standards in all planning activities.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of facade manufacturing processes, materials, and timelines
- Strong understanding of production workflows, resource planning, and capacity management
- Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and planning software
- Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills
- Analytical thinking with problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle high-pressure deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in production planning, preferably in the facade or construction manufacturing industry
- Proven track record in leading planning teams and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
