We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mason to join our construction team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Mason, you will play a crucial role in our projects, contributing your expertise in building and repairing structures using various materials such as brick, stone, and concrete.

• Prepare and mix construction materials according to specifications, including mortar, paste, cement, and slacking lime.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to plan work and estimate material requirements.
• Lay bricks, stones, and other masonry units to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures.
• Perform concrete work, including pouring, finishing, and repairing.
• Install and repair tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces.
• Conduct minor repairs to civil structures, including painting and gypsum work.
• Erect barricades and place warning signals around work sites to ensure safety.
• Operate sandblasting equipment to prepare surfaces when necessary.
• Document all work performed and materials used for accurate record-keeping.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project goals are met efficiently.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Mason or in a similar capacity.
• Proven skills in preparing and mixing construction materials.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
• Extensive knowledge of construction materials, methods, and best practices.
• Experience in concrete work, tiling, and performing minor structural repairs.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks throughout the workday.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address unexpected issues on-site.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and material calculations.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
• Valid work permit for the United Arab Emirates (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Basic English language skills; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
