The candidate will analyze project specifications and collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure precise calculations and quality standards. Responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating supplier quotes and proposing solutions for fire door installations. Strong collaboration and negotiation skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare accurate and detailed fire door estimates.
- Perform thorough take-offs of materials, hardware, and labor requirements for fire-rated door assemblies.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to clarify project scope and address technical questions.
- Source and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating favorable pricing.
