JOB SUMMARY

The Design & Estimation Engineer is an experienced professional with over 10 years in structural engineering, specializing in the fabrication environment. The candidate should hold a Bachelor of Science Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program and demonstrate proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, RAM Structural System, Microsoft Office Suite, Risa 2D, Risa 3D, and SAP 2000.

Additional Desired Qualifications

1. S.E. preferred but not required
2. 10+ years of experience in structural analysis and design of structural projects preferred
3. Experience in ETABS is preferred but not required

Responsibilities will primarily include but are not limited to the following

1. Performing structural analysis and engaging in the design of steel and/or transportation structures for both new construction and rehabilitation.
2. Preparing technical/design reports and calculations packages.
3. Generating construction drawings and specifications.
4. Attending design meetings and site inspections with clients, subconsultants, and partners on an as‑needed basis.
5. Interacting and collaborating with in-house drafters and other engineers.
6. Designing various structures and producing contract documents for building types, retaining walls, foundations, and wastewater treatment plants.
