About Submer: At Submer, we are redefining how data centers are built, integrated, and operated, with sustainability, efficiency, and innovation at the core. The Middle East is a strategic growth region for our company. We are looking for a Strategic Sales Manager to join our team and take a leading role in driving large-scale, transformative projects across the GCC region.

This is not a traditional sales role. We are seeking a senior sales leader with a consultative mindset to drive growth in GCC. You should be someone who listens deeply, understands the broader customer context, and guides them toward optimal strategies for building and operating high-performance data centers at scale.

What impact you will have

You will be instrumental in transforming how the GCC region builds and powers its digital future. You’ll not only help customers achieve their technical goals, but you will also shape their strategic vision and turn innovation into tangible results.

What you’ll do

Lead Strategic Customer Engagements:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers and public/private organizations to understand their strategic needs, challenges, and ambitions.
  • Translate complex requirements into tailored solution roadmaps that may include design validation, full-stack integration, or infrastructure optimization.

Drive commercial growth:

  • Lead strategic sales initiatives in the GCC region with a focus on large-scale projects.
  • Identify, cultivate, and close opportunities that align with Submer’s value proposition around sustainable, scalable infrastructure.
  • Monitor industry trends, funding programs (e.g., government-backed AI and digital transformation)

Foster cross-collaboration:

  • Partner closely with the Solution Architect (Pre-Sales) and cross-functional teams (Design & Build, R&D, Marketing, AI Cloud, Customer Support) to co-develop proposals that deliver business value, not just technology.
  • Align regional initiatives with Submer’s global strategy, ensuring consistent execution and messaging.
  • Provide structured feedback to product and R&D teams based on customer and market needs.

Build long-term partnerships and market presence:

  • Establish and nurture enduring relationships with customers, strategic partners, and ecosystem players.
  • Support customers beyond the sale to ensure long-term success and expand collaboration opportunities.
  • Represent Submer at key industry events, forums, and government initiatives to strengthen brand presence in the Kingdom.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, IT, or related field (MBA or postgrad preferred).
  • Proven track record in consultative, strategic sales within the data center, cloud, or IT infrastructure industries in the GCC region with previous experience working in Saudi Arabia.
  • Deep understanding of data center ecosystems, including design, integration, sustainability, and performance optimization.
  • Experience working on large-scale, high-impact projects (e.g., regional deployments, hyperscale data centers, government-funded initiatives) in the GCC region.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to influence C-level decision makers.
  • Analytical and system-thinking mindset with an ability to uncover opportunities through dialogue and data.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
