Job summary

A leading international service company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Geochemist for a 3-month project. The ideal candidate will have at least 20 years of experience and a strong background in coordinating geochemical studies. Responsibilities include conducting QA/QC on data, mentoring junior staff, and preparing technical reports. Preferred qualifications include an M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Geochemistry, and previous experience in Abu Dhabi is necessary.

My Client is an international service company working with the ADNOC group in Abu Dhabi and due to expansion require the support of a Senior Geochemist to support the project for 3 months.

The Senior Geochemist will be required to:

• Coordinate and conduct Geochemical studies
• Prepare verify and update all geochemical studies
• QA/QC of all data
• Integrate new data
• Support in assessing potential exploration targets updating petroleum system models and support the basin modellers
• Mentor juniors
• Prepare technical reports
• Experience in Petrel TechLog PetroMod Excel PowerPoint

The Senior Geochemist required to have:

• 20 years experience
• Previous experience in Abu Dhabi
• Msc Geochemistry PhD preferred
