People & Data Analytics Specialist
The People Data & Analytics Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture (P&C) system, ensuring data integrity, and enabling efficient processes through system configuration and support.
This role also plays a key part in generating meaningful people insights by analyzing workforce data to inform strategic decision-making and enhance the employee experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and deliver recurring and ad-hoc People & Culture (P&C) reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making across the organization.
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in areas such as turnover, headcount, performance, and engagement.
- Partner with the P&C team to define key people metrics and track them over time to support workforce planning, diversity, equity, inclusion and talent initiatives.
- Ensure data accuracy across all reporting tools and highlight discrepancies for resolution.
- Maintain the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of employee data through regular audits and validation checks.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., General Data Protection Regulation) and internal privacy policies.
- Oversee the daily administration of the People & Culture system (MENAME / MenaiTech), including managing user access, permissions, workflows, and automation features.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to support system functionality and address non-technical issues or updates as needed.
- Act as a key point of contact for system-related queries from the P&C team providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Monitor system performance and escalate critical issues as needed.
- Provide training and ongoing support to P&C team members and system users to maximize system adoption and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HR systems administration, HRIS support, Data management, or a similar role. Retail experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Well versed with MS Office, advanced Excel
- Experience with data visualization tools, their creation and analysis (e.g., Power BI, and Excel PivotTables).
- Knowledge of regional employment law.
- Knowledge of the local culture and sensitivities
- Proficient in English verbal and written communication, Arabic is advantageous
