Job summary

A governmental authority in aviation based in Dubai is seeking an HR professional to manage the Human Resources Information System and oversee payroll processes. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with local labor laws, conducting investigations for employee misconduct, and managing end-of-service benefits. The ideal candidate should be adept in HR technology systems and committed to fostering employee relations, all within a structured and regulatory environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in HR technology systems and administration.
  • Strong understanding of local labor legislation.
  • Ability to conduct investigations and maintain employee relations.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain HRIS data entry protocols.
  • Administer payroll processes ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage end-of-service benefits processing and final settlements.
  • Conduct employee misconduct investigations and ensure compliance.
Job description
Human Resources Information System Administration
  • Implement data entry in HRIS system is up to date and accurate.
  • Maintain works to ensure that all administration required to process payroll is executed in the most efficient and timely manner
  • Administer the implementation and maintenance of HR technology systems related to talent management operations.
Payroll Processing
  • Implement a monthly payroll run (payroll processing)Maintain all data entry (attendance, vacations, overtime, spot bonuses, recruitment information, and others) relating to payroll and all information is accurate and timely entered and processed on the payroll system. Undertake works to ensure the process of transferring employees is managed in adherence to Human Capital processes and procedures
    End of service benefits
    • Perform end-of-service benefits for resigned are processed in a timely manner.
    • Ensure that all statutory pay-outs are taken into consideration while processing the final settlement pay-out.
    Employee Relation
    • Conduct an investigation and inquiry process when an employee is involved in misconduct and recommend disciplinary action to be taken commensurate with the gravity of the misconduct.
    • Ensure compliance with local labour legislation and GCAA policies and procedures.
    • Addressing employee concerns and proactively identifying factors that could impact employee retention
    • Support the team in data management for preparation of timely and accurate departmental MIS statements and reports of Payroll Department.
    Reporting
    • Ensure that all functional reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet GCAA requirements and quality standards.
    Health, Safety and Environment within GCAA
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude as per IMS available standards
    Other Tasks/ Accountability
    • Perform additional tasks relevant to the role/area of expertise as requested by the management to be able to achieve the objectives/commitments.
