Phlebotomist – Ras al Khaimah, UAE (Africans Preferred)

We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Ras al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and processing blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience working as a Phlebotomist, with knowledge of laboratory methods, techniques and standards. They should be patient-focused and able to handle difficult situations with tact and empathy. We would prefer an applicant from Africa who is able to communicate in the local language but this is not essential.

• Collecting blood samples from patients
• Performing venipuncture procedures according to established protocols
• Properly labeling collected samples and preparing them for transport
• Entering patient information into medical records databases accurately
• Ensuring all patients are treated with respect, dignity, and courtesy at all times
• Adhering to safety protocols at all times when handling specimens or equipment
• Maintaining cleanliness of work environment at all times
• Providing quality customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly
• Assisting other medical staff with additional tasks as required

• Experience as a Phlebotomist with knowledge of laboratory methods, techniques and standards
• Patient-focused with good interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and empathy
• Ability to communicate effectively; local language skills are a plus
