Job summary

A leading marine services company in the United Arab Emirates is looking for a crane operator. The role involves attending meetings to review lifting drawings, conducting inspections of cranes, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities also include maintaining cleanliness of the crane and engine room, updating load charts, and reporting any defects observed to management. Candidates should have a strong understanding of offshore regulations and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Attend meetings with nominated barge personnel to review lifting drawings and procedures.
  • Conduct and report on periodic inspections of cranes.
  • Report defects as per manufacturer’s instructions to Barge Foreman.
  • Ensure the crane, cabin, and engine room are kept clean.
  • Display and update the load chart in the cabin for visibility.
  • Ensure compliance with Company codes, HSE, offshore regulations, and operations manual.
