Bar Manager jobs in United Arab Emirates

Responsible for daily shift operations and staff supervision in the bar/lounge. Assists with promoting the lounge, menu planning, maintaining standards, supporting servers during peak times, and managing liquor inventories. Ensures guest and employee satisfaction while adhering to the operating budget. Enforces legal obligations professionally and consistently. Identifies training needs and implements development plans. Supports the food and beverage team by assisting in other outlets when needed.

Candidate Profile

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related fields.
• 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in food and beverage or related fields.

Core Work Activities

• Implements beverage policies and procedures across the property.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal beverage and liquor laws.
• Manages beverage control including inventory, portion control, cost management, and sales analysis.
• Monitors adherence to liquor control policies.
• Participates in pre- and post-convention meetings to understand group needs.
• Understands budgets, operating statements, and payroll reports for financial management.
• Manages controllable expenses to meet or exceed budget goals.
• Ensures compliance with all policies, standards, and sanitation standards.
• Maintains inventories according to budget and business levels.
• Assists in menu development and promotions.
• Trains staff on liquor control policies and procedures.
• Supervises staffing to meet guest service, operational, and financial goals.
• Communicates critical information regarding events to staff.

• Responds effectively to guest complaints and issues.
