Job summary
A leading environmental services company based in Dubai seeks a Junior Electrical Engineer responsible for supporting the commissioning and supervision of electrical installations for the Hassyan project. The role requires participation in various tasks including the installation inspection of MV/LV panels, transformers, and adherence to quality control procedures. - Ensure smooth commissioning of RO plant electrical systems and transformers.
- Supervise the installation and commissioning of MV/LV panels and auxiliary equipment.
- Adhere to Quality Control documentation during operations.
- Participate in resolving electrical issues on site.
- Review testing procedures for electrical equipment.
Skills
Education
Reporting to the Site Construction/Commissioning Manager/Lead engineers or his delegate the Junior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for supporting the successful commissioning and supervision of electrical equipment installations on site specifically for the Hassyan project.
- Ensuring the smooth commissioning of RO plant electrical systems, transformers and auxiliary equipment as required for project execution.
- Inspecting and supervising the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment including MV/LV panels, auxiliary panels, cable trays, ladders and cable pulling.
- Ensuring proper adherence to Quality Control documentation and procedures during Turnover Operations (TOps).
- Participating in or supporting task forces assigned to investigate and resolve electrical issues or incidents on site.
- Taking part in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for MV/LV switchgears, UPS circuit breakers and auxiliary panels.
- Performing or reviewing testing procedures for transformers, MV/LV panels, VSDs and UPS systems.
- Participating in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) activities related to electrical equipment when necessary.
- Carrying out any additional tasks assigned by Management to support project execution and site operations.
- Currently pursuing or holding an engineering degree or equivalent.
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
