Job Overview

IIQAF Group is hiring a skilled and safety-focused Crane Operator to support ongoing construction projects in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating mobile or tower cranes, lifting and positioning heavy materials, and ensuring strict compliance with UAE safety regulations and site procedures.

This role is ideal for professionals with proven experience in crane operations on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate mobile cranes / tower cranes to lift, move, and position construction materials
• Follow lift plans, hand signals, and radio instructions from riggers and supervisors
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections and safety checks
• Ensure safe loading, unloading, and placement of materials
• Maintain accurate operation logs and inspection records
• Comply with UAE construction safety standards and company policies
• Report equipment defects, hazards, or incidents immediately
• Coordinate with site engineers, riggers, and safety officers
• Maintain crane cleanliness and basic operational condition

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Crane Operator License / Certification (UAE or recognized authority)
• Proven experience as a Crane Operator on construction sites
• Strong knowledge of lifting techniques, load charts, and safety protocols
• Ability to read lift plans and construction drawings
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to safety
• Willingness to work overtime or shifts as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on high-rise buildings, infrastructure, or large-scale projects
• Familiarity with tower cranes, mobile cranes, or crawler cranes
• Basic communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
