Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Mobile Crane Operator you will play a crucial role in our construction projects ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations across various job sites in the city.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile cranes to lift move and place materials and equipment according to project requirements
• Conduct daily inspections of crane equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety
• Interpret and follow load charts site plans and safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with ground personnel and other team members using hand signals and radio equipment
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on crane equipment
• Maintain accurate logs of crane operations inspections and maintenance activities
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures
• Assist in planning lift operations and determining appropriate rigging methods
• Adapt to changing weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly
• Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a mobile crane operator
• Valid mobile crane operator certification (e.g. NCCCO)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid drivers license
• Proficiency in operating various types of mobile cranes
• In-depth knowledge of crane safety procedures and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret load charts accurately
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Basic computer skills for logging and reporting
• Physical ability to climb lift and perform crane operations in various weather conditions
• Detail-oriented approach to work with a focus on safety and efficiency
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Understanding of construction site operations and familiarity with rigging techniques
• Willingness to work in various construction sites across Dubai
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends when required
