Job summary

A financial solutions provider based in Dubai is seeking an Accountant to assist with daily financial transactions and support the broader accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and basic knowledge of accounting principles. Proficiency in Excel and a willingness to learn about UAE accounting laws and VAT are also essential. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles necessary.
  • Proficiency in Excel, particularly with Pivot tables and V-lookup.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining day‑to‑day financial transactions.
  • Support in recording journal entries and updating accounting ledgers.
  • Help prepare invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers.

Skills

Basic knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot, V-lookup preferred)
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Willingness to learn UAE accounting laws and VAT
