Project Execution & On-Site Supervision

Oversee day-to-day project operations to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Conduct regular site visits to inspect progress and resolve operational issues.

Ensure compliance with landscaping designs, contracts, and specifications.

Budget & Financial Control

Manage project budgets and track expenses to prevent cost overruns.

Approve invoices, monitor financial performance, and optimize cost-efficiency.

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Risk Management & Compliance

Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental laws, and company policies.

Handle project-related legal and contractual obligations.

Quality Assurance & Performance Monitoring

Implement quality control measures to maintain high landscaping standards.

Review project progress and recommend process improvements.

Conduct post-project evaluations to assess success and areas for improvement.

Reporting & Documentation

Prepare project status reports, financial updates, and client presentations.

Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, change orders, and site reports.

Provide management with insights on project performance and strategic recommendations.

Occupational and workplace Health and Safety responsibilities:

In addition to all job specific responsibilities, all employees are required to adhere to all Basatin health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, practices, and relevant legal and statutory health, safety and environmental requirements and obligations. Information Security responsibilities:

• Comply with Basatin Information Security Policies
• Be aware of and fulfil their information security responsibilities
• Ensure whoever handles sensitive company information have taken the Security Awareness Training
• Know how to report a security incident (to IT ServiceDesk or InfoSec).
• Not Disable his/her OS firewall and/or Antivirus
• Restrict use to authorized purposes, Protect access accounts, privileges and associated passwords.
• Accept accountability of his/her individual user accounts, and maintain confidentiality

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Minimum Requirement)/Civil Engineering/Landscape Architecture
• 10+ years of experience in project management within the landscaping, construction, or civil engineering industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale landscaping projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong expertise in planning, scheduling, and execution of landscaping projects.
• Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Risk assessment and problem-solving skills to handle project challenges proactively.
• In-depth knowledge of landscaping techniques, including softscaping and hardscaping.
• Understanding of irrigation systems, drainage solutions, and soil management.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations, sustainability practices, and LEED standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, GIS mapping tools, and landscape design software.
• Strong ability to lead and motivate teams, including site engineers, supervisors, and laborers.
• Experience in resource allocation and workforce management.
• Ability to train, mentor, and develop junior project managers and staff.
• Excellent client relationship management and ability to address concerns proactively.
• Strong negotiation skills for vendor and contractor management.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients, government authorities, and consultants.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for project reporting and stakeholder updates.
• Ability to prepare and present project proposals, progress reports, and financial summaries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and other project tracking tools.
• Deep understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Knowledge of legal requirements and contract management in the landscaping industry.
