Senior Derivatives Operations Lead — IRS & Islamic
Job summary
A financial services company in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Senior Officer in Group Operations to manage derivatives transactions, ensuring accurate trade processing and compliance with regulations. Candidates should have extensive experience in derivatives, especially Interest Rate Swaps, and demonstrated expertise in operations lifecycle management. This role requires strong attention to detail and communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience with derivatives, especially Interest Rate Swaps (IRS) and Islamic derivative products.
- Strong operational knowledge of trade validation, confirmation, and settlement.
- Ability to monitor reconciliation reports and resolve issues effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all derivatives transactions executed by the Global Markets desk.
- Ensure successful matching, validation, and settlement of trades.
- Capture and accurately book all lifecycle events for derivative products.
