FSTD Operations Manager
Job summary
A leading airline in Sharjah is seeking a qualified engineer to manage FSTD operations and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include overseeing FSTD qualification, supporting inspections, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to contribute to a dynamic team in the aviation industry.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Nominated postholder acceptable to GCAA per ORA.GEN.210(b).
Responsibilities
- Manage FSTD operations and maintenance, ensuring compliance and proper defect reporting.
- Oversee FSTD qualification, including quarterly subjective tests and QTG runs.
- Handle FSTD modifications, ensuring compliance and completing Management of Change and Risk Assessments.
- Support GCAA/EASA inspections and internal audits related to FSTD operations.
- Maintain accurate FSTD documentation, logs, and compliance records.
- Monitor contracted maintenance teams to ensure SLA and regulatory compliance.
Education
