The Distribution Lead role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the distribution systems within an organization. This position requires a detail-oriented and strategic individual capable of managing distribution activities, optimizing processes, and leading a team to achieve organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in logistics and supply chain management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines. The Distribution Lead will be responsible for coordinating the flow of goods from suppliers to consumers, overseeing inventory levels, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a dynamic leader who can effectively manage distribution personnel, streamline operations, and enhance productivity while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and have a keen eye for identifying areas of improvement in the distribution process.

• Oversee and manage all distribution activities to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize distribution operations and processes.
• Analyze distribution data to identify areas for improvement and enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in the distribution process.
• Lead and mentor the distribution team to foster a high-performing work environment.
• Coordinate with suppliers and clients to manage the flow of goods effectively.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage stock control to prevent delays.
• Monitor transportation costs and negotiate favorable rates with logistics partners.
• Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the distribution network.
• Prepare and present reports on distribution performance and metrics to senior management.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into distribution strategies.
• Collaborate with other departments to align distribution activities with business objectives.

• Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in logistics or distribution management roles.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing a team effectively.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills to assess data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Proficiency in distribution management software and tools, such as ERP systems.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of supply chain and distribution best practices and industry standards.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to meet operational demands and deadlines.
