Chief Commercial Officer – Ultra-Luxury Hospitality & Leisure Group

Location: Dubai

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

A rare opportunity to join one of the world’s most celebrated ultra-luxury hospitality and leisure groups as it undergoes a significant transformation. Backed by a leading international investor and renowned for its award-winning experiential offering, the brand is entering a bold new chapter.

The incoming Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will play a crucial role in this turnaround: unifying fragmented commercial functions, embedding a data-driven, margin-focused strategy, and accelerating top-line growth across global resorts, private travel, wellness, and world-class culinary experiences.

Based in Dubai, the CCO will lead all revenue-generating areas including sales, marketing, revenue management, and distribution, while safeguarding the soul of one of the world’s most distinctive sustainable luxury brands.

Success will require a commercially rigorous, brand-savvy leader with deep experience in ultra-luxury hospitality or adjacent sectors. A proven record of driving revenue, optimising margins, and transforming commercial teams is essential, as is a strong grasp of high-net-worth guest behaviour and premium market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Leadership

  • Design and deliver a global commercial strategy aligned to growth ambitions following new private investment.
  • Define revenue priorities across key verticals: accommodation, wellness, F&B, yacht, private aviation, and emerging services.
  • Establish a unified pricing, distribution, and channel strategy to drive revenue and optimise margins.
  • Lead the shift from fragmented, relationship-led sales to a performance-driven, data-backed commercial model.
  • Collaborate closely with CEO and CFO to align commercial goals with overall financial strategy.

Revenue Growth & Margin Optimisation

  • Drive improvements in total revenue and profitability across all business lines.
  • Integrate sales, marketing, reservations, revenue management, and distribution under a cohesive structure.
  • Implement dynamic pricing strategies and improve channel mix to maximise ADR, occupancy, and ancillary revenues.
  • Enhance customer acquisition and retention with a focus on long-term guest value.
  • Identify new markets, partnerships, and product innovations aligned with brand ethos.

Brand Stewardship & Experience Integration

  • Safeguard and elevate brand equity while delivering commercially effective strategies.
  • Ensure all initiatives remain true to the brand’s sustainability-led and experiential philosophy.
  • Partner with resort GMs and operations to incorporate guest insights into commercial planning.
  • Oversee global brand marketing, PR, digital, and partnerships – with focus on ultra-HNWI audiences.
  • Strengthen storytelling and content strategies to position the brand as a leader in luxury eco-experiences.

Data, Insights & Commercial Innovation

  • Build a high-performance commercial analytics function supported by CRM, revenue management, and BI tools.
  • Embed predictive analytics and robust performance review processes across all commercial teams.
  • Promote continuous innovation across marketing, sales, and digital platforms.
  • Explore loyalty concepts and luxury experience enhancements to differentiate competitively.

Stakeholder Management & Investor Alignment

  • Act as a key commercial voice to CEO and private equity partners, supporting strategic planning and performance discussions.
  • Provide commercial insights for investor engagement and growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with finance leaders on forecasting, scenario planning, and capital allocation for commercial investments.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead a high-performing global commercial team, including sales, marketing, and revenue leaders.
  • Build a culture of accountability, customer-centricity, and commercial excellence.
  • Strengthen integration across commercial, finance, and operations to ensure cross-functional alignment.

Expected Outcomes

  • Improved top-line revenue and EBITDA margins across all business lines.
  • Stronger ADR, occupancy, and ancillary revenues without diluting brand exclusivity.
  • A data-driven, agile commercial function aligned with strategic and financial goals.
  • Greater market share among ultra-high-net-worth clientele.

Candidate Requirements

Experience

  • Senior commercial leadership experience in ultra-luxury hospitality, premium travel, or adjacent high-value sectors.
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth and profit improvement across complex, global portfolios.
  • Strong background in brand stewardship, luxury marketing, and customer experience strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to transform siloed or fragmented teams into integrated, high-performing units.
  • Deep understanding of high-end guest behaviour and global luxury market dynamics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
  • MBA or other advanced qualification highly desirable.
