Job description
KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Manage vendors who may be engaged to assist in developing new initiatives and ensure the delivery of predefines outcomes from the vendors.
  • Provide documentation that shows the linkages between individual projects and the Department’s strategic plan and the Departmental priorities.
  • Provide a high level Change Management role within the Department.
  • Provide Benefits Realization reporting on the achievement of projects, post-implementation, that measures and defines the success of projects in meeting objectives.
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate
  • Ensure the creation of industry standards that include measurable objectives and KPIs.
  • Provide routine progress briefings on the development of defined projects to the Department.
  • Ensure project deadlines and objectives are met to pre-defined requirements.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders and service partners.
  • Manage the development of projects that may involve resources from multiple-disciplines, such as IT, policies, products, service delivery.
  • Develop forward plans (road maps) that align with the Department’s priorities.
  • Analyze current customer service performance and provide gap analysis. Identify and recommend policies & procedures that meet the customer’s and Department’s needs.
  • Develop and manage SLAs relating to services provided by vendors, stakeholders or partners.
  • Provide high quality project management services to the Department that align to standard PM methodology including the development of timelines and standards project documentation.
  • Perform research market and customer segmentation to identify customer needs.
  • Establish and develop new products/services that meet the needs of customers and the Agency’s legislative requirements.
  • Represent the Department in the Agency’s project management meetings, meeting functions and events.
  • Provide high quality briefings and reports to the department (written, verbally and by formal presentation).
  • Monitor project performance post implementation and assist operations management where required.

Education
