Job summary
A financial service firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified finance professional to manage day-to-day accounts, prepare for audits, and optimize cash flow. The ideal candidate will have qualifications such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA and a relevant degree. Experience in complex sectors like manufacturing or engineering is highly preferred. Responsibilities include running monthly accounts and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Competitive salary and opportunity for growth offered.
Qualifications
- Mandatory qualification in financial accounting or equivalent.
- Experience in sectors such as Manufacturing, Defence, Aerospace, etc.
- Hands-on experience in financial operations including accounts payable and receivable.
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day running of company accounts.
- Build and maintain financial forecasts at project level.
- Run monthly management accounts and control cash flow.

- Qualification & Professional Standing (Mandatory) – ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA (or international equivalent). Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business with Finance specialism.
- Come from one of the following sectors (Strong Preference) – Manufacturing, Defence / Aerospace, Engineering, Infrastructure, Energy, Capital-intensive projects or complex multi-entity groups.
- Forecasting & Financial Modelling Capability (Critical) – Must demonstrate hands‑on ability in project forecasting, multi‑project cash‑flow forecasts, revenue timing vs delivery milestones, Capex vs Opex modelling, unit economics & margin tracking, debt service & covenant modelling, funding runway projections (12‑36 months).
- Day‑to‑Day Financial Operations (Must be hands‑on) – Candidate must be comfortable actually running finance: accounts payable & receivable, payroll oversight, VAT/GST/Sales tax, month‑end closing, bank reconciliations, FX exposure tracking, budget vs actual.
- Risk Compliance & Governance – Required experience with audit preparation, financial compliance, internal controls, fraud prevention, contract financial risk analysis, multi‑jurisdiction tax exposure (strong advantage).
