Job summary

A leading finance services firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced accounting professional with advanced proficiency in Oracle systems. Candidates must have strong budget preparation and management skills and knowledge of Abu Dhabi Government financial policies. Expertise in monthly closing processes and compliance with IPSAS standards is essential. Qualifications include at least a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields and preferably a Master’s degree or professional certification. This role supports external and internal audit requirements and implements financial controls sustained by strict adherence to governmental regulations.

Job description

Candidates must demonstrate advanced proficiency in Accounting and System Accounting using Oracle with mastery across the following modules: Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Projects Accounting Procurement Fixed Assets Inventory Payroll Cash Management- Bank Reconciliations and General Ledger.

Strong budget preparation and budget management skills are essential including experience in developing monitoring and reporting on annual and project budgets and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Expertise is required in iExpense iSupplier iProcurement as well as in executing the monthly closing process module reconciliations trial balance review and preparation and financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities include supporting both external and internal audit requirements ensuring timely follow-up and implementing robust financial controls.

Abu Dhabi Government experience is mandatory including in-depth knowledge of the Abu Dhabi Government Unified Chart of Accounts financial policies and procedures and relevant Abu Dhabi financial laws.

Familiarity with IPSAS (International Public Sector Accounting Standards) is expected ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory and reporting standards.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in finance Accounting Economics Business Administration
  • Masters degree MBA Or professional certification CMA/ACCA is advantage
