JG Afrika is seeking an experienced Wastewater Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities :
- The design of wastewater infrastructure project management of multidisciplinary projects
- preparing contract documentation
- contract administration
- supporting Green Drop and Blue Drop compliance.
- The role involves site work and may require travel at short notice. A full and valid driver’s licence is essential.
- A minimum of a BSc, BEng, or BTech in Civil Engineering is required.
- A Master’s in Water and Wastewater Treatment Processes is a strong advantage.
- A BSc or BEng in Chemical Engineering will also be considered, providing you have experience in municipal wastewater treatment design and project management. Please provide evidence on your CV.
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer / Technologist, or close to registration.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- At least 8 years of experience in wastewater infrastructure design and contract administration, with good knowledge of treatment plant processes.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills are a requirement.
- Strong and demonstratable technical skills in the Engineering space.
- Strong AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit and Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, Word and MS Project.
