A leading recruitment agency seeks a Project QA / QC Officer to manage the quality management system for a construction project. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of QA/QC experience in Civil construction, a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include compiling inspection plans, managing project NCR systems, and conducting quality evaluations of subcontractors.
Project QA / QC OfficerTo assume the responsibility of the management, coordination and implementation of the quality management system for the project.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (N.Dip / B.Tech) or related technical discipline.Internal auditing ISO
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS : Sound knowledge of Civil construction standards.Analytical & methodical approach to problem solving.Excellent communication skills (Verbal / Written) including preparing / compiling detailed technical reports.Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Tools.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Compile / Review inspection & test plans, quality control plans (QCPs) and related inspection / testing recordspile Work Package QA / QC Datapacks for each section of workpile reports on project quality (system / workmanship) compliance.The oversight management of site document control in relation to drawings and as-built records.Management of the project NCR system; Interface with Clientele and Project Management concerning project quality related defects and remedial actions.Management & coordination of Quality Control team members (QC / QC Inspectors / Document Controllers).
Conducting quality evaluations / audit of project subcontractors & suppliers.Assessment of critical materials delivered to site.Interface / Coordination with Laboratory services concerning site testing requirements.Internal auditing of the site QMS in terms of ISO
