Job summary

A leading automotive company in South Africa is launching a 12-month Yes4Youth program to empower unemployed youth aged 18-34. Participants will gain hands-on work experience across various fields such as Business Administration, Finance, Law, and IT. Candidates are required to apply through the BMW Career Portal and submit relevant documents. The program will run from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, aimed at addressing youth unemployment and developing new skills.

Qualifications

  • Participants must be between 18 and 34 years old and currently unemployed.
  • Must have completed their studies and not participated in a Y4Y program before.

Responsibilities

BMW Group South Africa is hosting a Yes4Youth (Y4Y) programme in 2026. The Y4Y Program is our commitment and a collaborative effort to address youth unemployment in South Africa, enabling youth to develop new skills and gain meaningful workplace experience. The program is tailored to empower participants with hands‑on work experience in their chosen field.

The program is aimed at participants between the ages of 18 and 34, who have completed their studies; have not participated in a Y4Y program before, and are currently unemployed. Participants will be based in Gauteng at the following locations:

  • Midrand Campus, Johannesburg, or
  • Plant in Rosslyn, Pretoria.
  • Menlyn (BMW IT HUB), Pretoria
Qualifications, Fields of Study

A University Degree or National Diploma in the following career streams:

  • Business Administration/ Management Administration/ MBA
  • Business Management

  • Finance, Accounting. Economics, Investments, Internal Auditing or Tax Degree
