Hybrid: 2 days remotely / 3 days from office (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays - Cape Town CBD)
Location: Cape Town CBD, South Africa.

We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join the Marketing team to assist in designing high quality material, course maps for our software, as well as providing design support to the Marketing team. Excellent photoshop skills and attention to detail will provide you with a strong foundation to acquire this skill. We’ll provide full training on the map design.

In addition to maps, you’ll also be responsible for assisting our design team in designing campaigns, paid media ads, print, content creation, marketing collateral (digital and print) and promotional video. Tagmarshal is changing the world of Golf Operations through data and has developed leading traction in the USA, Europe, Canada, the UK and South Africa. Our new team member is creative, accountable, keen to learn, adheres to high quality standards and is a strong team player.

In this role, you’ll work alongside two other designers, and will form part of the marketing team. You will be involved in a variety of projects as capacity allows, providing great opportunities to grow your skills and use creativity to solve business challenges.

1. Main responsibility: Support the design / beautification of satellite imagery, for detailed and accurate golf course maps. These skills will be taught to the successful applicant.
2. When capacity allows: Assist in designing marketing campaigns, digital content, digital assets including paid advertising, social media posts, videos, print ads & marketing.
3. Design impactful marketing collateral for marketing campaigns, digital content, digital assets including paid advertising, social media posts, videos, print ads etc. when mapping requirements allow.
4. Develop designs working within an exciting fast-paced environment, without compromising on quality, pushing creativity further than expected.
5. Design within the parameters outlined within the brand guide and templates created.
6. Accurately follow design briefs while contributing imaginative and cutting-edge design concepts.
7. Contribute to design thinking and new ideas within the design unit.
8. You’ll be part of the Marketing team, working alongside a Creative Director, Mapping Design Manager and Graphic Designer.

1. Matric (required).
2. Design diploma or degree / similar advantageous.
3. 2-3 years relevant experience in Design role.
4. Strong Photoshop skills (required).
5. Link to Portfolio of work required.
6. B2B experience advantageous.
7. Skilled User of Adobe suite of products for graphic design.
8. WordPress savvy advantageous.
9. Ability to work with video software like Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects is beneficial.
