About the job Retail Production Controller

CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

PRODUCTION CONTROLLER - onsite - Location: Based in Cape Town

Through a solid understanding of final output requirements and the Clients brand look & feel, ensure that all finalfiles received via the Retail Management System are print ready as per the client brief in RMS.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Ensure all deadlines are met timeously
  • Maintaining standards and quality of work produced within RMS
  • Supply technical information & client requirements to Internal Retail team
  • Effectively communicate the production status to all relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure Job complies with the cleintand ISO standards of pre-flight and proofing forthe intended output
  • Ensure all time spent on jobs are recorded within RMS and that final approved artwork is uploaded in theguardbook via RMS

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

Relevant tertiary qualification with at least 4 - 5 years experience in a similar role. Strong project management skills are required. Knowledge of Retail Marketing, Retail Client Service, Basic Print, Repro and DTP highly beneficial. RMS experience will be beneficial. Intermediate computer skills.
