The Company Sales Department requires a dynamic, resilient, self-motivated Insurance Sales Consultant to promote and grow sales in the Insurance Industry - Cape Town and surrounding areas. The objective is to on-sell and provide a high level of visibility and support in order to increase installation volumes from this distribution channel.
Job description
· Grow sales via Insurance intermediaries.
· Promote the product to the Insurance Industry.
· Provide on-going product information to a portfolio of brokers/administrators/underwriters
· Implement and manage incentive programmes/marketing opportunities.
· Regular training to Insurance Intermediary staff on all products and services.
· Weekly/monthly reports, monitor portfolio performance, track trends within the industry.
· Achieve set monthly and yearly targets.
· Attend after hour functions if and when required.
· Attend to necessary administration.
· Identify new business opportunities.
· Facilitate process improvements by engaging with internal stakeholders.
Minimum requirements
· Matric with at least 5 x years of Face-to-Face sales experience.
· Good relationship building and communication skills on all levels are essential.
· Relevant brokers/underwriters/insurers/Insurance qualification or industry experience will be advantages.
· Established connections/networks within the insurance industry will be beneficial.
· Excellent presentation & Training skills.
· Must be a self-starter.
· Sales & goal driven.
· Able to work within a team.
· MS-Office proficiency.
· Valid Drivers Licence.
