Job description

Our client is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Office Automation Technician to join their dynamic team. This critical role involves the installation, maintenance, and support of the company’s diverse range of office and energy automation products. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with strong technical expertise who is equally passionate about business development and mentorship.

Requirements
  • Technical experience in the maintenance and repair of printers/copiers (multi-brand experience is a plus).
  • Experience or familiarity with solar software and systems management.
  • Familiarity with maintaining and supporting time attendance and access control technology.
  • Strong people skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with clients and team members.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills, particularly in telephonic communication for remote diagnostics and support.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transport is required (as travel to client sites may be necessary).
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, diagnose, and repair multifunction printers (MFPs) and copiers, ensuring high availability and optimal performance for client print environments.
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for specialized business solutions, such as the installation and maintenance of systems related to Solar Software and renewable energy solutions.
  • Servicing and troubleshooting of Time Attendance and access control systems.
  • Act as a key technical liaison for clients, managing service calls and installations professionally.
  • Effectively manage technical issues through telephonic communication and remote support, providing clear, solution-oriented guidance to users.
  • Actively engage with the business growth strategy and demonstrate a passion for business by identifying opportunities for client solutions and service improvement.
  • Demonstrate a strong passion for mentorship by training clients on new systems and assisting in the development and skill transfer to junior technical staff.
