A leading research organization in Pretoria is seeking a Director of Information Communication Technology (ICT) to guide and manage the overall ICT function, develop initiatives to support strategic goals, and oversee various technical areas. This role requires proven leadership and experience in ICT management. The position includes traveling across HSRC's offices nationwide.

The HSRC is seeking a dynamic and innovative individual with demonstrated success and delivery to guide and manage the overall Information Communication Technology (ICT) function by developing and implementing initiatives that support the achievement of the HSRC's strategic goals.
The ICT unit oversees the following areas:
- Technical assistance and a Help-desk and End-User support
- Systems and software development
- ICT contract management
- Network Infrastructure Operations
- Cyber security
- Business Application support
The incumbent will report to the Chief Operating Officer and manage the delivery of ICT initiatives across all HSRC offices nationwide. The position is based in Pretoria and the incumbent will be required to travel as required.
