A public sector organization is seeking a full-stack developer for a fully remote, 20-week contract to design and implement a large-scale corporate website. The ideal candidate must have at least 10 years of experience, proficiency in multiple languages including PHP and JavaScript, and a degree in Computer Science or a related field. This position offers the potential for contract renewal and requires expertise in CMS, API integration, and performance optimization.

- Design, develop, and implement a new corporate website project.
- Maintain backend database management and system integration.
- Integrate AI-powered chatbot and ensure performance optimization.

Opportunity in a public sector Department of Namibia Government to design, develop and implement a brand‑new corporate website project.
Fully remote, initial 20‑week contract with potential for renewal.

- Full‑stack development in multiple languages including PHP, .NET, Linux, HTML, C++, JavaScript, MySQL, and JavaScript algorithms
- Front‑end libraries, APIs & microservices, HTML5, CSS3
- CMS and Azure SaaS Platform
- Back‑end database management, system integration, maintenance & QA, creating and maintaining APIs and third‑party plug‑ins
- Online procurement & tendering system integration
- Responsive designs, security and performance optimisation
- AI‑powered chatbot integration & customization
- User request queueing management systems
- Pop‑ups and highlights for active marketing campaigns
- API integration with Vessel Traffic Systems (VTS) for real‑time vessel movement & port activity, gate automation system for real‑time tracking, e‑procurement system, terminal operating system
- Analytics & SEO integration (Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager)
- Multi‑lingual module configurations
- SSL encryption
At least 10 years in development of large‑scale CMS and database‑driven websites.
- Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering university degree
- Microsoft Azure certification
