As a full-time online ESL teacher, you'll benefit from the support of an experienced team and company resources, working from our conveniently located Bryanston office. Teachers receive extensive training on EF's sophisticated yet user-friendly online classroom and can participate in ongoing professional development programs.

Lesson materials are created by our academic team, allowing you to focus on connecting personally with each student during group and private lessons.

You will gain valuable experience working in an international company while helping adult learners from over countries achieve their personal and professional goals in learning English.

1. Conduct 20- to 45-minute conversation-based group and private online lessons with adult learners.
2. Provide after-class reports to students, detailing their progress and recommendations for improvement.
3. Correct student essay submissions using our online tools.
4. Attend ongoing training as part of EF's teaching program.
5. With experience, create your own custom lesson materials.

The employee will work on rostered days and hours based on the company's 24/7 operational requirements. The schedule will be communicated in writing and may change.

Normal hours will not exceed 45 hours per week, with flexibility required based on business needs.

Current shift schedule: 4-day, 10-hour shifts based on availability.

• South African residency and possession of a South African identity document.
• C2 level English proficiency with a neutral accent.
• Completed Bachelor's degree (mandatory).

• Must work from our Bryanston office, Johannesburg.
• Professional, energetic, and enthusiastic about working with people.
• Previous teaching experience is a plus but not required.
