A leading managed services provider in South Africa seeks a Linux Services Manager to lead a high-performing operations team. Ideal candidates will have 5–7 years of Linux administration, strong automation skills, and a leadership background. Responsibilities include team management, client engagement, and driving infrastructure optimizations. Requires RHCSA/RHCE certification and project management experience. Qualifications
- 5–7 years of hands-on Linux system administration experience.
- Strong experience with automation frameworks, especially Ansible.
- Practical knowledge of Zabbix, Nagios, and infrastructure observability.
- 2–3 years of leadership or senior-level technical experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Linux administrators.
- Act as the primary technical authority in client meetings.
- Ensure team performance meets or exceeds Linux SLA.
- Contribute to Linux service roadmap development and strategy.
