A construction and machinery company is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair road construction and earthmoving equipment in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a Red Seal or diploma in diesel mechanics and at least 5 years of experience. This role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and teamwork. A competitive salary of R35 000 to R50 000 per month is offered.
Formación
- Minimum of 5 years experience in diesel mechanics.
- Experience in heavy machinery and construction equipment.
- Auto electrical skills are beneficial.

- Maintain equipment through inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Manage supplies and apply mechanical inspection tools.
- Record keeping of services and repairs on all equipment.

CONSTRUCTION AND EARTHMOVING DIESEL MECHANIC
Salary: Paarl, R35 000 to R50 000 per month
- Maintain equipment and operations by completing inspections and preventative maintenance on road construction and earthmoving equipment.
- Utilize tooling, manage supplies, and apply mechanical inspection tools with a strong technical understanding.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, dependability, thoroughness, verbal communication, documentation skills, and inventory control.
Must reside in or around Paarl, or be willing to relocate.
- Red Seal in Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic (EEM) or Diesel Mechanic Diploma
- Code 8 driver"s license
- Code 10 driver's license
- Experiences: Minimum of 5 years experience
- Experience in heavy machinery, mining construction, farming equipment with reliable references
- Experience in all aspects of repair works, welding, and maintenance of yellow construction vehicles, equipment, and vehicles
- Record keeping of services and repairs on all equipment and vehicles is a requirement
- Auto electrical skills are beneficial
- Skilled in fault-finding and preventive maintenance
