At Glacier, we don’t just host events, we craft experiences that inspire, connect, and elevate. With our dynamic team and a culture that celebrates excellence, we’re looking for an events specialist who’s ready to take our internal and external engagements to the next level.

Key Outcomes
  • End-to-end event management: from concept to execution, you’ll lead the planning and delivery of medium-to-large-scale, high-impact events (50 - 2,000 attendees) - including client engagements, staff functions, thought‑leadership forums, and more.
  • Creative experience design: collaborate with marketing, communications, and business teams to design experiences that reflect our brand and resonate with our audiences.
  • Vendor & partner liaison: build strong relationships with suppliers, venues, and service providers to ensure seamless execution and value delivery.
  • Budget & logistics oversight: manage budgets, timelines, and logistics with precision and flair.
  • On‑the‑ground leadership be the calm in the storm - leading setup, managing run‑of‑show, and ensuring every detail is perfect.
  • Post‑event impact: track, analyse, and report on event roi and kpis such as lead generation, attendance conversion, and delegate satisfaction scores. Gather feedback and continuously improve our approach to events.
  • Virtual & hybrid event expertise: manage and optimise experiences on platforms like Zoom events and MS Teams specialized webinar tools, and hybrid event technologies.
  • Compliance & data privacy: ensure adherence to financial sector compliance, regulatory guidelines, and data privacy standards related to events and delegate information.
Administration & systems management
  • RSVP management & tracking: oversee delegate registration processes, monitor attendance trends, and ensure accurate reporting.
  • SAP payments & tracking: manage supplier payments and budget allocations using SAP4/HANA, ensuring compliance and timely processing.
  • Storeroom management: maintain inventory of event materials, manage storage logistics, and ensure readiness for activation.
  • Preferred tool skills: proficient in MS Forms, Formstack, and SAP4/HANA for efficient data collection, workflow automation, and financial tracking.
