Job summary
A leading software company is seeking an Automation Tester to lead test automation in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will design scalable test frameworks, mentor testers, and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines. Proficiency in TestComplete and experience in the retail domain are preferred. This role is fully remote with occasional office visits required.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in TestComplete is highly advantageous.
- Experience in the retail domain is preferred.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable test frameworks.
- Drive QA standards and mentor testers across the business.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Skills
Education
We’re looking for a Automation Tester to lead test automation across projects and teams in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable test frameworks
- Driving QA standards and mentoring testers across the business
- Collaborating with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality at every stage
- Integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines and supporting continuous testing
- Proficiency in TestComplete (highly advantageous)
- Experience in the retail domain (preferred)
- ISTQB certification and relevant IT qualifications (a plus)
- Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
This role is fully remote; however, occasional visits to our Head Office in Parklands, Cape Town may be required.
