We are currently hiring Remote Video Interpreters to facilitate conversations between English speakers and Mandarin speakers across healthcare, insurance, and legal domains. This is a fully remote, hourly-paid position that does not require prior experience just excellent language skills, a professional setup, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation via video in English to Mandarin
• Interpret live conversations with accuracy, neutrality, and clarity
• Follow confidentiality protocols and ethical guidelines
• Adapt to various subject matters including healthcare, insurance, and legal terminology
• Attend virtual training and ongoing skill development sessions

Required Qualifications

• Fluent in Mandarin + Fluent in English
• Full-time availability Monday to Friday, 9 AM 5 PM EST
• Own a PC / Laptop with Intel i5 processor and minimum 8 GB RAM
• Noise-cancelling headset and HD webcam
• Reliable, high-speed internet connection

Preferred But Not Required

• Prior experience in interpreting, customer service, or call center environments
• Familiarity with medical, legal, or insurance terminology
