Job summary
A global technology services company seeks a Principal Specialist in Johannesburg to lead the development of global accounting policies and standards. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in technical accounting and can effectively collaborate with international teams. This remote position requires a flexible work schedule to accommodate global business hours and includes occasional onsite requirements.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of technical accounting experience in a multinational organization.
- Deep IFRS expertise with ability to research multiple local GAAP frameworks.
- Experience with public accounting and corporate accounting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global accounting manual.
- Implement a governance model for accounting policy changes.
- Partner with finance teams for effective rollout of global accounting policies.
