FITs/Groups Tour Consultant (Intermediate/Senior) Hybrid

Tours and Safaris – Leaders in Southern Africa, looking for a friendly, energetic, and driven individual to complement our vibrant office environment and to handle international inbound Tour Operator enquiries. Confident, self-motivated and goal driven. If you are detail-orientated and have the relevant experience this might be the role for you. The position is within the USA, Australasian Division.

Opportunity to work Hybrid.

Criteria:

·A Minimum of 3-5 years Inbound Tour Consulting experience – FITS/Groups (Travel/Flight Agency exp, will NOT be considered) Strictly Inbound Tour Operations/DMC.

·Quoting & Costings: Know of all the components that make up a tour and which need to be included when creating itineraries.

·Experience at an Inbound Tour Operator - Quoting and Processing FITs and/or Groups in Southern Africa.

·Experience with working with overseas Clients/Tour Operators – market being USA, Australasian.

• Experience with creating tailor made itineraries and quoting for online agent platforms.
• Experience with creating & quoting packages for agent websites.
• Attention to detail/figure orientated. MS Office Skills.
• Specialist advice on destination to agents.
• Apply strong sales techniques to convert potential business. Negotiation Skills.

·Processing of converted quotes to bookings, cradle to grave management of bookings.

• A team player – thus someone who can receive directive from colleagues when need to achieve a mutual goal.
• Engaging with a myriad of Southern African suppliers to ensure you secure the best product/service coupled with the best possible price.
