Job summary
A leading equipment company in Mpumalanga is seeking a Warranty Claims Specialist to oversee warranty processes and provide technical support. Candidates must be qualified artisans with experience in mechanics and solid problem-solving skills. This role requires effective communication and the ability to manage warranty claims efficiently. The position may involve overtime work.
Qualifications
- Must have 3 years post-apprentice/learnership experience.
- Machine general technical knowledge and applied skills are required.
- Willing to work overtime.
Responsibilities
- Achieve warranty balanced score card targets and KPI’s.
- Approve and process warranty claims and payments.
- Provide expert technical support for warranty resolution.

- Control suspense and debtors accounts effectively

- Grade 12
- Must be a Qualified Artisan, Mechanic in relevant trade e.g. Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Mechanic or relevant mechanical engineering qualification
- 3-year post apprentice/learnership experience
- Machine general technical knowledge and applied skills, Applicable product knowledge
- Basic financial acumen, influencing and negotiating
- Technical report writing skill, Customer responsiveness
- Organisational awareness, Attention to detail
- computer literate (MS Office, SIS ET and SAP/CRM – warranty role
- Problem solving and failure analysis skill
- Sound understanding of Warranty policies & procedures and communication skills
- Willing to work overtime
