Job summary
A transportation company in Wes-Kaap is seeking a skilled Trailer Body and Welding Technician. Responsibilities include welding and repairing trailer bodies, assisting in preventative maintenance of trucks and trailers, and supporting workshop activities. Education
We are seeking a skilled Trailer Body and Welding Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and repairing trailer bodies, assisting in preventative maintenance of a fleet of 150 plus trucks and trailers, and supporting other areas of the workshop as needed.
We specialise in the transportation of refrigerated goods and have built a strong, dedicated team to deliver this service. - Perform welding and repairs on trailer bodies
- Assist with preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers
- Provide support in various workshop tasks as required
- Travel to assist with breakdowns when necessary
- Ensure tools and work areas are kept clean and organised daily
- Code 8 Driver's License
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Willingness to travel for breakdown assistance
