An exceptional opportunity has opened for a seasoned finance leader to join a global FMCG powerhouse. This senior role sits at the heart of the business, driving financial reporting, compliance, and transformation across multiple business units. It’s a hands-on leadership position where accuracy, agility, and innovation meet.

In this role, you will oversee the full spectrum of financial operations, reporting, and compliance for the group’s South African entities. Your mandate is to ensure that reporting is accurate, timely, and fully compliant, while continuously improving processes and systems.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead and shape the Finance Operations function with full accountability for general ledger, statutory reporting, compliance, and internal controls
• Partner closely with senior stakeholders, including Commercial, Treasury, and Tax teams, to align financial reporting with broader business strategy
• Ensure strong governance and adherence to IFRS, local regulations, and internal standards
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Manage external audits, tax submissions, and regulatory filings
• Deliver clear, high-quality financial statements that support decision-making at local and global level
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, providing insights that go beyond reporting
• Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis, planning, and forecasting
• Drive the adoption of digital tools (SAP, BI, Excel automation) to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Lead finance transformation initiatives, ensuring scalability and long-term sustainability of finance operations
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks across reporting and operations

• We’re seeking a hands-on, commercially aware finance leader with a strong technical background and a collaborative mindset
• Professional qualification: CA(SA) / ACCA / CPA
• 8+ years’ finance/accounting experience, in FMCG multinational environments and ideally shared services space
• Strong IFRS knowledge, with proven SAP (FI/CO/MM/AA) expertise
• Leadership experience (non -negotiable)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
