We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team at OneDome. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional with at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience, strong attention to detail, and expertise in bookkeeping software such as Xero. As part of a fast-paced scale-up, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's financial operations.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
• Process and reconcile bank transactions, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing, expense tracking, and payments.
• Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and categorized.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow reports.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support the Finance Manager with month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Process payroll and ensure accurate recording of salaries, benefits, and deductions.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.
• Maintain compliance with tax requirements and support tax filings where needed.

• Generate financial reports to provide insights into business performance.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes by maintaining financial data accuracy.
• Assist in preparing reports for senior management and external stakeholders.

• Utilize bookkeeping software such as Xero and other relevant tools to streamline financial processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement in financial operations.
• Ensure best practices are followed in financial record-keeping and reporting.

• Experienced: Minimum of 3 years' experience in bookkeeping, preferably in a fast-growing company or scale-up environment.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Xero is essential; experience with other bookkeeping and accounting software is a plus.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial tasks accurately.
• Organized & Reliable: Able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
