Job summary
A leading safety training organization is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to provide support for learners. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate learner records, supporting onboarding, and assisting HR with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should demonstrate attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations, contributing to a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in administrative roles, particularly in an educational or HR context.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

- Maintain accurate and compliant records for learners across all entities.
- Support the onboarding and registration process for new learners.
- Communicate effectively with learners regarding their queries.

To provide administrative and coordination support for learners across the business. This role ensures accurate record-keeping, effective learner support, and compliance with internal policies and legislative requirements.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant learner records across all entities.
- Support the onboarding and registration of new learners.
- Track learner progress, attendance, assessments, and portfolio submissions.
- Assist with learnership documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Communicate effectively with learners and provide support with learnership-related queries and challenges.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and status updates for HR and line managers.
- Respond to learner queries and elevate issues where necessary.
- Ensure all learner files meet B-BBEE audit and regulatory standards at all times.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data capturing, system support, and policy-related administration.
- Maintain clean, accurate, and compliant employee and learner records.
- Handle learner and employee requests within scope and escalated when required.
- Work proactively with HR team members to support shared objectives and deadlines.
- Prioritise tasks effectively when working on joint projects.
- Contribute to process improvements and effective information sharing within the HR team.
